Performance Modeling Club of NW Washington

It has been awhile since I posted on the blog so here goes.

January 16, 2011 is our next club meeting and it is open to the general public.  If you enjoy making models or just models in general, come and enjoy the meeting.  Bring a model to share if you have on handy.

This has been an amazing year so far.  Many memebers have stepped up to the plate and taken on new positions.  The whole club has enjoyed our meetings, as we have found many members staying after to talk and share more models. This year it was voted that we have a December meeting which turned out to be great, so who knows maybe next year we will vote to hold a meeting in December again.

Plans for the upcoming Model Show are in full swing and many of the areas we have to take care of right before the show are already completed and ready for the show.   Our club is working hard to make this another great show for everyone. 

We have a number of new sponsors this year.  We want to thank each of you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the 16th Annual Model Show & Swap Meet, February 27, 2012 at the Cotton Tree Inn in Mt. Vernon, WA.

President Patrick Howell has been going down his list and for months he and his wife Ann have been compiling all that will be needed to make our Model Show run smoothly.

We are still going to need members to step up and take on positions at the show to replace those who will no longer be there working. It will be different without all the regular members working the different areas, but we will do our best and I am sure it will all come together to be one amazing Sunday.

Our next club meeting will be January 17th.  We are taking off the month of December to give everyone a break for the holidays. 

Keep January 17th...2 pm  Round Table Pizza in Mt. Vernon on your calendar.  Bring your spouse and enjoy a meeting. 

Our meetings are not just for those who are building models....this club is a family.  Bring friends who enjoy your hobby too.

Our club meeting was a great success.  Thanks to all who attended.  It was a great turnout this month and we hope each month will be even better. 

Remember our club meetings are open to the community and are held now at Round Table Pizza in Mt. Vernon.  Everyone is welcome.  The meetings are always held on the third Sunday of each month at 2 pm.
